Q: How does car shipping work?
A: First, get a quote online or call us, then book your order by the same means, when your order is booked we will assign you a trucker who will then call you 4 to 24 hours in advance of your pick up date.

Q: Do I have to be present when you pick up my vehicle ?
A: Either you, or a designated person, have to be present upon pick up of your vehicle to sign a contract " bill of lading" which is an inspection that the driver performs with you to review if there is any damage on the car before loading it on the truck, the same is done upon delivery .

Q: How do I pay, and what types of payments do you accept?
A: a 15% deposit of your total cost will be charged to a major credit card, and the balance will be paid to the driver upon delivery of our vehicle, cash, cashier's check or money order.

Q: What is door-to-door transport?
A: Door-to-door means that we arrange for pickup and delivery at the address you specify (subject to accessibility and local laws). You do not have to go to a terminal to pick up or drop off your vehicle.

Q: Can you arrange a terminal service?
A: Terminal services can be arranged, however, terminals do charge additional fees and therefore, we prefer to give our customers door to door service whenever possible to avoid unnecessary charges.

Q: Can you ship inoperable or unusual vehicles?
A: Absolutely. We specialize in unusual vehicles such as antique, classic and collectible cars and accommodate oversized vehicles. For inoperable vehicles, please let us know at the time of booking so we can dispatch a special carrier.

Q: Is reliable car carrier ltd registered and bonded?
A: Yes, We maintain a surety bond with the federal government pursuant to 49 U.S.C. ֲ§13906(b) and are registered with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.mc# 587799 carrier # 600010

Q: On what kind of transporter will my vehicle be carried?
A: Most are transported via multiple car carriers, the same type used to transport new vehicles from the manufacturing plant to dealerships.

Q: How many days in advance do I need to arrange for my vehicle to be picked up?
A: We recommend that you book your order 7 to 10 days in advance, however if
you need to move your car immediately, we will work with you on an individual basis to accommodate your needs.

Q: Is my vehicle insured during shipment?
A: Yes, your vehicle is insured from the time it is picked up until the time
it is delivered.we only work with carriers that have a high premium insurance at 0 detactable for our customer

Q: Can I ship personal items in my vehicle?
A: No for many reasons :the department of transportation does not allow the
transportation of" personal items" in a vehicle that is being hauled by an auto carrier, items packed in your car are not covered by the motor carrier's insurance (only your vehicle is).

Terms and Conditions
1.(MC587799) agrees to have vehicle(s) described on quotation shipped on or about the dates requested. Reliable Car Carrier LTD. will designate a reliable carrier (agent) to transport promptly as possible in accordance with your instructions but cannot guarantee pick-up or delivery on a specified date.
2. Carrierג€™s responsibility begins when the shipper or his agent signs the bill of lading at pickup, and terminates when the shipper or his agent signs the bill of lading at delivery. Reliable Car Carrier LTD must be notified, should the shipper be unavailable for pickup or delivery, and his agent must be designated at that time. If carrier is sent out and vehicle cannot be picked up there will be an additional $100.00 rescheduling fee.
3. Reliable Car Carrier LTD.hereby notifies shipper that their vehicle will be driven on and off the transporter, or to and from the transporter at the pickup or delivery site. Should the carrier be unable to access either site, this does not relieve the consignee from making a reasonable effort to meet the truck at a suitable location.
4. All vehicles to be delivered with a balance due shall be paid by CASH or CASHIERS CHECK or MONEY ORDER ONLY (US funds). Should delivery be attempted after attempted notification (3 to 24 hours voice notification to phone numbers provided by shipper) and shipper or his agent does not have proper funds or is unavailable to receive delivery, vehicle(s) will be taken to and left at the nearest terminal at the discretion of the carrier, where shipper will have to retrieve and pay for storage or redelivery fees.
5. If you are shipping an inoperable vehicle, you may be required to help load and unload said vehicle at the discretion of the driver. Should vehicle(s) become inoperable during transport, $150.00 will be due at time of delivery in addition to any other moneys owed. It is shipper's responsibility to make sure vehicle is in proper working order.
6. Reliable Car Carrier LTD. or its agents will not knowingly transport vehicles with personal or household items in the passenger or trunk compartment. Federal regulation prohibits Reliable Car Carrier LTD. orits agents from doing so. If such items are shipped unbeknown to Reliable Car Carrier LTD or its agents, such items become the sole responsibility of the shipper. Should damage occur or fines be levied, said fines or damage are shippers responsibility. If you place personal items in your car you will be subject to additional fees at the discretion of the transporting company.

7.Shipper is responsible for preparing the vehicle(s) for transport, all loose parts fragile or protruding accessories, low hanging spoilers, fog lights, antennas, etc., must be removed and/or properly secured. Any part that falls off in transit is shipper's responsibility, including damages done by said part to any and all vehicles involved.
8. If damage should occur, all moneys owed for transport must be paid to initiate a claim. Damage must be noted in the proper place on the bill of lading, and signed by driver and shipper, regardless of weather, or time of day. Signing the bill of lading without any notation of damage verifies that shipper or his agent has received the said vehicle in good condition, and that Reliable Car Car Carrier LTD. andits agents are relieved of any further responsibility. Shipper or his agent MUST check vehicle thoroughly.
9. Reliable Car Carrier LTD. and its agents must also be notified of any damage by phone within 24 hours. Shipper must submit in writing a description of damage, clear pictures, and 2 estimates within 10 days of receipt of said vehicle directly to the designated carrier for any resolution to be initiated. Reliable Car Carrier LTD. will support you in this effort should such a problem occur, but in no way will Reliable Car Carrier LTD. accept responsibility for any negligence of the assigned carrier. If your vehicle is valued at a higher than market rate, we suggest you purchase a special insurance rider.
10. Any claim or controversy arising from or relating to this agreement, or the performance or breach thereof, shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Broward County, Plantation, Florida. Shipper specifically waives any right to judicature of this matter at any other location. Reliable Car Carrier LTD. can only be liable for up to the amount of the deposit located on your quotation. In no case can Reliable Car Carrier LTD. be held liable for the designated carrier's damage. Reliable Car Carrier LTD. will provide carriers insurance certificate and carrier information should any controversy arise.
11. We are responsible for booking the shipment of cars with a licensed and insured Motor Carrier Corporation, who handle their own damage claims. It may take a few weeks to process your claim, since the drivers must return to their terminals with the original Bill of Lading condition reports.
